Where have I been? So I know that its been a totally long time since i've blogged. Sorry i've just had other things on my mind. Having a 2 year old, being pregnant, and a husband who works 70 hours a week really wears a girl out :) Things have been going great w/ everyone. I have 6 more weeks left until delivery and I can't wait! I know that I shouldn't rush this and I am enjoying it, but i'm really eager to meet my little Luke. oh yea for those that don't know since I haven't posted in a while, his name his Luke Barkley. We love it! I'm going to the doctor every week now. Since J was 3 weeks early, the dr is going to monitor me a little closer because he thinks that I will more than likely go early with this one as well.
Luke's nursery is pretty much complete. the crib is done. diapers are stocked. clothes are washed and put away. toys are out and clean. its all coming together. The wonderful thing about having the same sex and having them close together, is that I pretty much already have everything. Luke's closet and dresser are stocked full of clothes until 3-6 months and then when we grows out of those I have 4 more tubs of clothes waiting :) Its nice to already have everything and just to be able to pull it back out. D and I have had fun going through all of J's old clothes. Its crazy that we can still remember all his clothes and special times that he wore them. J got moved into the guest room and we're working on finishing up his room. We're doing an AL themed room but not too much. my dad came and painted one wall red and the other walls white. we got him new bedding and i've got some pictures and knick knacks to put up on the walls but i'm waiting until my dad comes to finish the final coats of paint. also a friend is making houndstooth curtains for the window and closet(we took the doors off) so I can't wait to put those up in the room. J has adjusted very well to sleeping in his "big boy" bed. Its D I can't seem to train. He loves laying down w/ J at night and falling asleep with him. I'll definetly have to upload some pictures so I can show exactly what i'm talking about. Well theres lots more but thats pretty much the jist of it. i'll try and post pictures and do more entries in the next week or so :)
